Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

We share the concerns individuals have about the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The wellbeing and safety of individual owners, residents, our staff and contractors are of paramount importance.

Mia Property Manager continues to follow the advice provided by relevant authorities to guide us on any actions we need to take. We strongly encourage owners/residents to take individual responsibility and follow the guidance and advice provided.

In order to keep the day to day management of your Owners Corporation and property going, our staff are now working remotely from home. Additional measures we have implemented are restricting annual general meetings and all other face to face meetings. We will use alternate means such as teleconferencing where possible. Non-essential site visits will be postponed.

Our staff are also prepared and mindful of the need to prioritise work and review budgets in preparation for widespread work and social disruptions. There may be some impact to service levels during this period and we appreciate your patience during this time.

We note that some communities within buildings have established communication forums and advice amongst occupants as a means of supporting and assisting individuals in need and also communicating information on COVID-19.

In terms of the need for additional cleaning or other hygiene measures, your caretakers (where applicable) are paying particular attention to ‘touch points’ within your building while cleaning. Where possible we have arranged installation of hand sanitiser units in the common area of some buildings.

We ask that all residents continue to be supportive of cleaners, caretakers and contractors at this time. They continue to carry out essential and important work to keep your property clean and maintained under difficult circumstances.

Mia Property will continue to work with owners and your Committee, to help keep everyone safe in these challenging times.
